Jose - the MOST HATED man in England, except to Chelsea fans
He praises the opposition team only when he has won a match. Lose and he will claim his 'better team lost'.

Even before the match against Man Utd ended just now, he and the rest of his staff started shaking hands with Sir Alex and Co at the technical area like the match had already been won. Cocky manager he is, with an oil tycoon backing him up financially.

No wonder they can be Champions for the 2nd year running. No chance, Fergie, as he is not as cocky. No chance even next season if Man Utd don't buy quality players, especially in mid-field.

We were completely outplayed just now and we will definitely take revenge on them next season. Watch this space.

Time flies

1 week has passed since I stop working. So far, it has been football on TV, Elections 2006 on CNA and the ST and nothing else for me. The running regime has stopped too because of a slight strain on my right foot.

Can't wait for tomorrow's crunch match to start at 1930hrs.

CL finals 2006
Who would have expected Arsenal to go all the way to the CL finals? Without 1st team players like Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Lauren as well as former captain Viera, this Arsenal team has gone against all odds to go to the finals.

Beaten by Manchester United at Old Trafford recently and overawed by the brillance of Wayne Rooney, Arsenal must be extra wary of the Ronaldhino when they face Barca on May17 in the finals. Good luck to them but i don't think they can overcome Barca.

Busy day

Bought a new power supply unit for CPU. The fan of the old power supply unit could not work and the cpu kept shutting down itself.

However, the new power supply unit was not compatible with my PC casing. Therefore, I had to saw off a little part of the PC metal casing at the back so as to allow a hole for the plug to fit into the power supply port.

So much work for replacing that power supply unit with a faulty fan.

Cost: $75 plus transport fees to Sim Lim

I quit
After much persuasion, my boss finally let me 'quit' the job. No more missing out on Man U matches on Sunday nights. No more missing out on mid-week football like the Champions League. Lastly, no more missing out on important matches like Man U v Chelsea because of overseas 'attachments'.

Last 3 matches before Wayne Rooney and Co from Manchester United break up for the World Cup:

29 April Sat 12:30 UK Chelsea v Man U
1 May Mon 20:00 UK Man U v Boro
7 May Sun 15:00 UK Man U v Charlton

I will miss those people whom i have served.

The plight of Singapore's Speakers' Corner

Long wait for Chiam opponent
By Loh Chee Kong, TODAY

SINGAPORE : Despite the rain, Mr Lim Kian Heng was all ready to make a speech at the Speakers' Corner on Tuesday.

The 46-year-old former taxi driver, who has declared his intentions to stand as an independent candidate against Potong Pasir MP Chiam See Tong, had in his hands a 30-minute speech entitled, "One heart, one people, one nation", and all he needed was an audience.

No one turned up, and after waiting for one hour, Mr Lim - who was the first person to speak at Hong Lim Park six years ago - gave up the wait and decided to leave.

But he will be back, he said, the next six consecutive evenings to make speeches.

The man, who said he has a degree in electrical engineering, made the news recently when he declared his intention to contest in Potong Pasir.

Mr Chiam later told reporters that Mr Lim was asked to leave the Potong Pasir Town Council after a short two-week stint last month, after a female employee caught him surfing pornography in office.

Maintaining his innocence, Mr Lim said that he plans to sue Mr Chiam for defamation "once the election writ is issued". He is banking on the settlement to pay for his $13,500 deposit. - TODAY

Pay-Per-View Package ridiculous!
Starhub's latest 'promotion' of $10.50 for Fifa World Cup pay-per-view package is nothing but ridiculous. Sports fans, or rather EPL fans, are already paying $15.00 per month for the subscription to Sports Group.

Considering that there would be no EPL from mid-May to mid-August, it would be expected that part of the $15.00 paid per month for these 4 months would be used to cover costs in the telecast of the World Cup.

Instead, fans have to pay an extra $10.50 on top of the $15.00 to be able to watch the World Cup. Those who do not subscribe to the package can only watch 8 1st round matches on Ch22 which is part of the Sports Group.

Do not just format harddisk straightaway which is what i always do. Format it when all else fail like after applying the solution above.
