Monday and I am feeling the blues again. Other than the run in the morning which I felt good, the lectures were boring. I had a break in the afternoon and was so tired so I slept in the library. CM in the evening was, as usual, sucky. Wth, don't know what he is talking about.

The scary thing is, Friday will come pretty soon.

Youthout 08

Youthout 08 was a success. I was the "bouncer" for the day, tagging the wrists of those people who entered the premises and ensuring those who re-entered had tags with them. Some ah tiongs wanted to enter the area without paying but they couldn't escape my vigilant eyes. Some walked in confidently, hoping that I wouldn't notice.

After initially having difficulty in tagging, I became an expert doing it: tear, wrap, and off the person goes.

The bands were impressive but I don't like noisy bands. They were just shouting some 'ang moh' lyrics which I couldn't understand, with noises from their drums and electric guitar drowning their voices. The dances were not really energetic as well. The only performance that impressed me was the percussion band, Baracuda Batucada, from Ngee Ann Poly. It was a really energetic and good performance which left the audience grooving to the beat.

Fruity Friday

I ate alot of fruits these days and today is the ultimate.

An apple in the morning, mango-orange juice after class, 1 banana and a papaya after lunch. For dinner, I'll have......

The SS essay was okay, just that I think my points were too trivial and were not up to standard. At least I rushed out something. Thanks to sJ again for discussing an outline with me and writing a 'mock essay' the day before. But sad for her as well......

Boring Monday

It is the same old Monday which I had every week. Nothing special except during Ana chem where we kept making fools of ourselves. This module is seriously gone shit.

Tues and the cycle begins again. 8am lecture in the morning and lab thereafter. Why do I lead such a life?

Looking forward to Youthout this Sat. It's been a long time since I was involved with grassroots. Guilty.

Beautiful Sunday

Appreciating Physical Chem slowly. Too slowly perhaps.

My dedication on 987fm got read out yesterday at 8.30pm! Just before 8.30pm, I was just planning to switch the damn radio off so that I can concentrate on my studies. When I was about to switch it off, the Deejay Sarah read out my dedication and played my song, Chasing Pavements by Adele.

Jogging

It has been a long time since I ran such a long distance. But the only thing is, it is not a continuous run. I stopped at the traffic lights while on my way to SJ's place. My legs went numb nearing Labrador but I continued jogging nonetheless. We rested a while at Labrador and SJ told me about her bowling stories the day before. Never-ending stories with her around.

We reached the intertidal area at 8.15am and it is quite a pity that we couldn't play with the organisms at the seashore even though it is low tide as the gate would only be opened at 9am. The area is still being monitored by the Home Team and 'those in Green' for Mas Selamat.

This Mas Selamat episode is getting farcical. I really sympathise with those people doing guard duty at the jetty and everywhere else around Singapore. They had so much sleepless nights in vain while those stupid high-ranking ass only need to pass down commands and sleep at home.

Phy Chem test on Mon, then SS essay test on Thurs. Many things to do, yet not concentrating hard enough. It is Polymer Chem which I worry most about.

This is a cruel world. Results and good looks, counts, ALOT. I lead quite a sad life. My ugly handwriting is 'bestest' gift HE has given me, not forgetting other things which are ugly.

Interview at Catalyst Recovery Singapore

The interview went fine, just that I think that I could speak more fluently and with more confidence. I also need to practise how to describe myself better. The place looks quite boring and and the interviewer said that I would spend my whole 6 months in the lab other than my lunch breaks.

How saddening would that be? I'll leave it to fate on whether I would get accepted there.

25th bday at VillaBali

Villa Bali's atmosphere was good, just that we had some bad and slow service from the waitresses. We got to wait for 30min for the card to be swiped and the bill to be processed! They drank cocktail and I drank a mocktail called Bali Dreamer, as I got to drive. We ate potato wedges as well.

We sang SJ a birthday song at 12midnight and wished her again! A 25th bday celebration to remember for her and us.

I have a stupid smile. A 23-yr-old learning to smile nicely. Pictures to follow:

25th Birthday Celebration

We celebrated SJ's 25th birthday at Dian Xiao Er, Vivo City. The food there is just home cooked food which my mum can cook, nothing special but nice after not having eaten 'non-science-canteen food' for so long.

After which, we went Haagen Dazs and that was my 1st time at there. I didn't know that the chocolate can solidify. Stupid right. This was the fondue that we ate:

Had a great time with the "mystery guest" thing. Hope she likes her 25th bday celebration and presents.

Europe, here I come!

I got accepted for Eurip. Lucky me! I will work hard for the next 8 weeks, then enjoy my 3 weeks there!

Got called up for interview at Porocel as well. However, it is not my desired company. Looking forward to it though.

It's study time! I didn't realise time passes so fast! Less than a day left!

I guess to finish studying would be an impossible task. Would study as much as I can.
