Maggie Mee

It lets me think of those days in green, when a joker cooked 5 packets of maggie mee in a mess tin. Anyway it was pathetic saturday for me as my dinner was the food that I hate the most - instant noodles. I had no choice but to eat that as I still need money to top up my farecard.

Frisbee

The gals team could never outdo the guys in ultimate frisbee. We had better sense of passing, catching and overlap runs. But it was nothing but pure fun in this half-hour session although we dominated the game.

It is sad that this game had to be the last gathering for CLEO before everybody gets busy when school starts.

Hilly NUS

I didn't realise NUS is so hilly until after the run today. I was damned shagged out, after the up hills and down hills. I got to pace myself for the down hills because if i let gravity do the work, I will shag out even more.

But overall it is still alright. I feel good after the run.

A 12km run for me tomorrow, if not I won't feel good.

What a productive day today. Woke up at 10am, read the newspapers, had lunch then went for a afternoon nap at 3pm. I do not know why but everytime when 3pm comes, I will feel sleepy.

John Terry is favourite to succeed David Beckham, but Mourinho insists he will not be calling for the defender to be given the skipper's armband for England.

"I read a few quotes from other managers in The Premiership saying their player would be perfect to be England captain. It is very bad to say this," added Mourinho.

"Steve McClaren needs help, not pressure. He needs freedom and not people trying to push him for a decision.

"If Rafael Benitez says Steven Gerrard is the best captain and if Sir Alex Ferguson says Gary Neville is the best captain and if Arsene Wenger says Ashley Cole is the best captain, we are not helping Steve McClaren.

"I would say John Terry is the best captain you can have, but Steve McClaren needs space."

Why people do not install doorbells?

I don't understand why.

No doorbell.

So I knocked on your door lightly, but there was no response. So i knocked abit harder. Then you opened the door n 'gan' me for knocking very hard and disturbing you.

It took the whole Man Utd team to make my day. You single-handedly spoiled it.

I urge everyone to install a doorbell in their homes and replace the battery immediately after it goes flat.

Miserable United

My heart sank when I read the headline "Ronaldo confirms: I want out".

Speculation has been rife since the Real Madrid presidential election that our Man Utd hotshot will be seeking greener grass outside Old Trafford next season. But where else can you develop your talent other than at Man Utd? I think he doesn't realise that the greenest grass is at Old Trafford playing alongside Wayne Rooney n Co.

I hope Ronaldo will stay as our no.7 next season.

NDP preview 2006

It has been a long time since i attended a NDP live.

I still find that it is nothing amazing except for the loudness of the fighter planes flying over you, the parachute performance by the free fallers and not forgetting the beautiful pyrotechnics that is on show.

I feel for those parade contingents. They do so much work just for a parade which I think has got no significance, only wayang. The spectators cannot see the hard work the contingents have put in.

There is also something weird in this year's parade. The PAP has sent a group of people to be part of the parade contingent - something to ponder about.

No matter what happens

Both of you are still Man Utd players, donning the red Man Utd jersey. That red card incident was just a small misunderstanding. Both of you are also current irrplaceable no.7 and no.8 of Man Utd.

What Steven Gerrard said was just to break up our team.

Hope Rooney will be intelligent enough to sense it and end the dispute quick.

Sven 0 Big Phil 3

It is a hat-trick for Portugal coach Luiz Filepe Scolari. He has now beaten England on 3 occasions, once as a Brazil manager in World Cup 2002 and twice as a Portugal manager.

It is clear Sven has got it all wrong from the start.

Why take players like untried Theo Walcott, Steward Downing and an unfit Michael Owen to the World Cup? Why stick to the misfiring Frank Lampard even though he is not as his best? Why play Mr Beckham instead of playing the pacy Aaron Lennon? Why isn't Steven Gerrard made captain of England?

Steve McClaren will now officially take over as the new England manager and who knows, a new England captain may well be appointed too. I believe that Steve McClaren, as the ex-no.2 of Man Utd, will be rational enough to sack the current England captain.

Ronaldo did well for Portugal. He is still my favourite player for Manchester United despite kicking the winning penalty against England. England can only have themselves to blame.

I hope there will no be animosity between him and his England United colleagues when they return back to Man Utd. They still got an important job to do together, which is to wrest the title away from the Blues.

With England beaten, my World Cup is over too. I can now concentrate on other important stuffs.
