It is always the case. Everyone around me seems to be cleverer and better than me. I hate comparing with others - They can do it, why can't I?

But I know that the best competitor is still myself. I deserve those grades as I did not study hard at all. After so many sems of studying, I still do not know how to manage my time well. I am still as ill-disciplined as ever, if not more.

I always said that I wanted to forget the current sem and work harder in the next one. But did I work hard?

To be fair, there is really nothing much I can do now but to regret and reflect on my previous sems.

I regret last sem the most. Really, nothing but regret.

SMO invigilation

So luan in the morning! Those walk-ins were real headache.

Invigilation 1st in the morning. Quite an experience though.

After which, we needed to collect the SMO OAS forms from the various schools assigned to us. I was fortunate to swap with Alan and managed to go back to my alma mater. I couldn't get to see my previous form teacher coz she had gone back home. The general office admin staff were so friendly to me when I told them I was from CCHS.

I remember learning how to throw the javelin at the backyard near the general office. Passed by the swimming pool as well and I remember walking over there in twos with my classmates during PE lessons. Many others......the lake, the street soccer court, the bball court, the old building, etc.

Time flies.

25th Annivesary celebrations

Helped out at the CC at the youth night. Nothing special though. The highlight was when the superstars came out to belt out 2 songs each. I am not fans of them - didn't even know who Wu Jia Hui was until last week! Keely is cute, but who cares?

Fitness test

Went back camp to take my annual fitness test. The people at the guard house were stupid, as usual. They wanted me to tuck in my shirt and change my sandals to shoes. Big wayang again as these so called standards aren't the same for everyone.

The new technology used made the test faster. This is the only thing commendable.

I got a silver.

Newton Circus

We went Newton Circus. The roundabout near Newton is so complicated. Or rather, I was so blur and my driving skills lousy. I nearly got into a crash and I hate driving at roundabouts.

I made other blunders as well - sux. It seems like there are nothing but blunders these days. I must stop feeling like like this soon as the "law of attraction" is scary

Farewell to Loke

We had a Japanese lunch at Suntec with Xiu Qing and I spent $15. This is the 2nd time I ate Sushi and I am getting in love with it. Suntec has changed alot since don't know when. I don't know what I've been doing or which part of the world I was for the last 14 or so weeks - neither concentrating on studies nor going out to play.

Gloria Jeans followed and we chilled out there and enjoyed the $2 coffee. My Choc Macademia Latte was superb. Alan said that he would never say "I love you" or "thank you" to his gf. We had a great laugh after that.

Later, Lily, Alan and I went to Velocity at Novena while XQ went back to pack her bag. Velocity was pretty much an over-hyped up place as I couldn't find much sports stuff. I wanted to buy a new running singlet but all the designs were so old and ugly. The Adidas shop is the worst as they didn't even sell running singlets. I thought Queensway or any other places were better.

After that, we went Changi to give XQ a pleasant surprise. We scared her from behind while she was checking in. Ha! We bid goodbye and went our separate ways.

Cycling at PU

PU's cycling trip was fun. It is only my 2nd time cycling there and it has changed quite a lot since. We visited the Chek Jawa broadwalk but couldn't spot any organisms there since it was high tide.

Very tired now as it has been so long since I've worked my tired legs.

PS: Miscommunication sux. It kind of spoilt my day as I felt lousy, even now. I vow to read properly next time as this sentence will be etched in my mind forever: "Do you know the consequence of not reading properly during exam or even during work?"

Exams ended, but so what?

For the past sems, I know that I've worked hard. For this sem, I don't think I deserve a long break. This morning's paper is not a killer, but I can't do. I only have myself to blame for not spending time fruitfully.

CAP pulling will begin real soon. In the meantime, I will do some soul-searching while I wait for the results.
